Yea,I'd add their 6x42 SII to the list.  I'd also add my 1.5-6x42 SII but it's NOT for sale.   Bucky

Jack, that's funny, the two I've looked through (42mm obj) left me thinking it was the finest hunting scope in the world at any price.  You must have looked through a bad sample.

I'd think they'd be a GOOD source for an opinion,JTR.

Yea Roy,he still don't realize that he's seeing floaters in his eyes and not bullet holes in his targets.

Got agree with JG on this one. If I ever feel so inclined to drop 1500+ on a new scope it will be a Zeiss Diavari 2.5-10x50. Optically, I haven't seen a better hunting scope than that one.

I'll add Leupold to the mix, they may not be the best optically, but they offer a wide selection of cross hairs, are tuff as nails, have good eye relief, excellent customer service, they're pretty and they hold their value.

In any list of "deals" for hunting scopes, the Swift Premier line should be included.  Top end hunting scopes, hard beat Zeiss.  To my eyes, they are pretty much equivalent to Swarovski.

Hawke Eclipse and Endurance 30 models are a great deal on really tough scopes with good optics.
