Hey Chris, now that you have one in stock, what 's your take on the Excursion FLP spotter? Is it good enough for general purpose big game hunting?

The new Bushnell Excursion FLP spotters are very impressive for the money. Almost too good to be true in that price range. We don't have any real world test or comparisons done yet but we are selling a lot of them so we should start getting feedback soon. I'll add one to the O.T. Test Drive program to help speed up the feedback.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

The 20-60X80 sounds interesting. That is one I'd like to try.

I've had the 60 mm since January and as Chris said, it's almost too good to be true. My friend bought the Leupold FLP that this one is based on and we both prefer the Bushnell. It would be nice to see a professional side x side comparison but our informal comparison puts the bushnell in front due to the extra 5x magnification, all else appears to be equal.
