I won't bust him but if it happens it happens.  Only huntin pressure where he hangs out is on the 90 acres north of me and they (maybe 5 or 6) spook everything with they're wheelers and only hunt the first week of season.  The 200 acres west of me allows no hunting and there's just a handful of part time hunters who hunt the 300+ acres south and east of me. Only slight problem would be if he gets busted on a damage permit at night where it's legal to use lights. He's made it so far.

I would say he looks like a nice wall hanger.  Or let him live a few more years and let him spread his seed around.  Then you can have 2 or 3 a year eating your fruit.

Earl he looks awful skinny for this time of year.  Wonder if he has CWD?  Looks like he is sporting the makings of a nice rack.  My neighbor puts out Salt/calcium licks to help them out!

Aw,he's fine. CWD's 30mi. east of us although it does seem to be spreading south of there some.  I HOPE he keeps coming in for his corn ration but he's hanging out with a REAL skittish spike. He came right down from the farm road behind the house when I called him.
