15"x12"x3/8' mild steel target at 200 yds! Rifle is a sav. mod. 11 300wsm, the load is 178gr. amax over 64.5gr of IMR 4350 @2950fps.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

billyburl2, is that speed chronographed- 2950fps?
I loaded some 178g A-max with 66.5g of win 760- suppose to yield 2950fps...  I chronoed them today and found them moving at 3152fps... in fact all 3 moved at the exact same speed... Whacko

I chrony them a while back... average was 2957fps, fast one was 2972 slow won was 2938. Total of 12 rounds fired over the chrony. When I tested mine temp was about 90-95 degrees and thin cloud cover.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
