YikesDangit! I guess I'll either have to stock up (if I can),or I'll just have to pick up some Woodford or Blantons.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Hey we're talking about real Kentucky Bourbon here, not that Canadian koolaid! Knob Creek is a single barrell bourbon that will knock your d!(# n the dirt.

Makers is also my favorite. The Knob Creek and Woodford are for special occasions.

I had to quit drinking shine. I don't know, but there is just something about drinking shine and not feeling drunk until you stand up and fall on your face. Kinda hard to know when to say when.

So you are looking for more of a yield sign instead of a stop sign.  Understand.  Suppose drinking slower is out of the question.

Drank slow enough, even snickered at the first guy that got up and stumbled. Didn't feel the least bit tipsy til I stood up, then I realized I was plowed. Just glad I didn't fall into the campfire. Now I just take a very small taste, and that's it. I hate hangovers!

Sounds like I need to make a trip to Kentucky.  It does hurt the pride you laugh at the other guy for not being able to walk and then you are not able to make it out of the chair without falling.  Been there done that a time or two while camping as well.

Yeah, we, or my friends, still talk about that night. First time they ever saw me drunk, and I never intended to get that way. Zero to drunk in one step. No wonder moonshine is so popular.
