Here is an Internet picture of a pre-64 Winchester Model 70. Maybe someday I will figure out a way to post my own rifle.

Well, here is a Transition Model that has been altered but they don't know it.....check out the rear sight......it is not a Lyman 22G...... ( it is the first entry....)
also in the second entry...a 1948 rifle.....eighth thumbnail photo down the row.....see the scratch where a former long shank rear sight used to be??
