Need some help.. i'm looking for a variable rifle scope with a front focal plane recticle. Minimum magnification range of 4-14X50. This scope is to be put on a remington 700 SS 5R milspec in .308. I don't mind spending some money, but i don't want to break the bank.. Say in the range of +/-1500.

The scope in the above post, Super Sniper 3-9x42 is definitely the best choice for the money.

If you absolutely insist on having more magnification, check out the 3-18x42 IOR:

It is right at the edge of your price range, but a very nice scope.
