Hi Guys,

Ive heard alot of great things about the Bushnell scopes lately. I even looked at a 6500 Elite 2.5x16x at Sportsmans the other day. Well what used to be Sportsmans Warhouse..

Anyway I would really appreciate any opinions and experience on this scope please. Thanks! JF

I own this scope and never had any problems with it.I like it better than my Leupold VXIII which is also a 2-10x50 illuminatd reticle which cost over $300 more.Another very good scope you should consider that is in my opinion a tad better is the Weaver Classic Extreme 2-10x50 iiluminated dot side focus. This scope can be bought at closeout for under $300.

I agree with Hunter both the Bushnell and Weaver are great illminated scopes and are best buys.

Hunter just where do you find these closeout scopes these days?????? I only see them still listed by my distributors in the high $400s. I have the 2.5-10x56 and would like to pick up a 2.5-10x50 before they are all gone.

Well Hunter1-5, it's been a really arduous journey, but it seems we've come to an abrupt end.
You've been asked (nicely) not to post competitors names, numbers and what not, but in spite of the warnings, you still do as you damn well please, so your account has been deactivated.
Sorry it's come to this but....c'est la vie.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

I had one and sent it back to Bushnell for a refund with their Elite policy.  I found the eye relief to short and the illuminated dot was difficult to see.  The subtensions on the 4 reticle were really thick as well.  I switched over to a Hales 2.5-10x50 CB from the Sample List for a couple hundred more and have been extremely happy.

But that's just me.  Others have had better experiences.

brodeur272,

No sense in pushing a rope, I will saty away from that Bushnell Illuminated Dot Scope. I do not need an Illuminated scope that bad anyway, just thought it might be fun. I would like one of those Kahles someday though in a 2.5x10x50 or CL 3x10x50

I was looking at one of these the other day (for the first time) and could not believe how rugged it felt in my hand and how well put together it was.....I wouldn't normally expect this out of that price range of glass. I was very impressed......However I believe It is still between LP....NF.....USO............Would someone now like to throw in their two cents on this issue?
