Gentlemen
Does anyone know if I can have a recticle change done to a used Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50mm? Who does it and how long time it takes?
Thanks

I do not know about Zeiss, but I sent my 3x10x42mm Swarovski Amer. in and they changed the reticle style for me in RI. It took a couple weeks and cost 170.00, I decided I did not like the 2nd reticle as it was not a low light type. I sent it back again and they changed it to a 4A for free. I would call Zeiss at (800) 441-3005. Or e-mail sportsoptics@zeiss.com Good Luck! JF

Swaro's customer service alone is one reason to buy their products. I have a few stories of my own working with them. Edited by mike650 - June/09/2009 at 06:44 |

I don't think Zeiss will do it....at least, they wouldn't when I sent my conquest back about a year ago.

Unless they have stopped for some reason, they will do reticle changes and they offer target turret options as well.

They upgraded my elevation target a few years ago (was hunting, wanted a BDC, had them install a target turret, cost me $50, took about 4 weeks, I think.
I looked at their site and don't see anything about a reticle swap or turret upgrade, don't know if they still do them. I emailed Customer Service and will let you know what they say. Reticle swaps can be expensive, scopes ain't made to come apart easily - the good ones, at least. |

Zeiss will do reticle changes for $60, however they will not change to a Rapid-Z reticle at this time. |

From Zeiss:
Reticle change All riflescopes of the Conquest line can be fitted subsequently with other reticles. To have the reticle changed, send in the riflescope to the Zeiss service department along with the requested information. (Please contact the Zeiss customer service department for the necessary return instructions.) Available reticles for each Conquest model may be viewed at www.zeiss.com/sports or by requesting a Conquest Technical Overview brochure from the Zeiss customer service department. |

The answer is no "if" your wanting to change a Z-Plex to one of the Rapid Z models.
From the Zeiss Website regarding reticle changes to the Rapid Z models:
"...Retrofitting Rapid-Z® Reticles
Please be advised that there is currently no available option to retrofit the ZEISS Rapid-Z® reticles into previously purchased ZEISS riflescopes with a standard reticle. This is to ensure that customers who want to purchase a new ZEISS riflescope with the Rapid-Z® reticle are given priority attention. We thank you for your understanding...." Here's the link, its located at the bottom of the page.
