Recently purchased the following:

Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x44 AO, fineplex, target knobs

Still not what I REALLY wanted (Super Sniper variable) but hopefully they'll hold me over till then.

Can't wait to compare them to what I already have and write a review.

Anything I should be aware of?

Good buys on both scopes. Look for those SS variables in about 7-8 months.

Looks like you got a really good deal on both of those scopes.

I shall - also looks like I'm getting a IOR 6-24 fine plex scope, and a Swift 6-18x44 scope as well.  It will be neat to compare them all.

That and I may be getting a demo to review of a new CQB optic (1-4x) - I'll compare it to my IOR 1.1-4x, and my non-magnified cqbs (Trijicon RX-06, Eotech, OKO, and Trijicon Tri-power).

Need more time in the day!

Got the Nikon today - wow, beautiful scope, great optics, lightweight.  However, I just don't think it is what I need.  I really should have gotten a mildot scope.  So now I need to sell it (anyone interested?) and buy something else - maybe an XOTIC - yeah, I think that is what I'll get!
