The Nikon Titanium is a nice scope. It is a little over-priced though. I would go with a Nikon Monarch or Monarch Gold and save some money.

I agreee with STW..The Nikon titanium is a waste of money. So is a 56mm objective, in my opinion. Not only is it more money, it requires extra high rings and ruins the balance of a rifle. |

I agree with mwyates, a 56mm objective is unneccessary especially for a hunting rifle. They are huge and would require extra high rings making it uncomfortable to shoot most guns with one of those behemoths mounted on it. I would stick with the 40-44mm range with 50mm being the biggest I would use.

The Titanium offers NO optical advantages over the Monarch.
