Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

Rain here too. Sad I was planning on going to Deer Camp tomorrow to cut back the grass but that's been canceled. Add a little water to the red dirt roads up there and you have a slippery mess that challenge 4x4's which in turn thrashes the road(s).

This is later than it has been the last 2 years. This rain does not look like much on the radar. It is very intense. My driveway in Inola has never had water over it, but it did today.

I took off today to go to the range... it's under water.  I didn't have my wet suit.

It's APPRECIATED,Brandon.  I'm up high on a ridge so no problems, except the wife may have to stay at work, but down low there's no where for the creek waters to go when out of its banks except on the roads and into peoples yards and buildings.  Also BAD on young turkeys/eggs and our mast crop this year.  GREAT on the wells though!

The RAIN is back. Flood warnings are in effect all over this side of the state. 4 weather fronts are converging over the area tonight with 8+ inches of rain expected before Noon Friday. Several roads are closed all ready and the first of the rain only arrived about 3:00 pm. Bigdaddy where is that rubber duck of yours?? Look out NE it will be heading your way.

Not good.  We are supposed to have snow this weekend.  Got down to 27 last night.  I don't know what would be worse 8" of rain or 8' of snow.
If nobody ever said anything unless he knew what he was talking about, a ghastly hush would descend upon the earth. AP Herbert

I will take the snow. The temps dropped from 86 yesterday to a high of 48 today. it is 41 now. Big change. I had 4.09" of rain at my house. Several roads closed by water. It cleared off just before sundown. It was nice to see the sun.
