What does everyone think of Rock River AR-15s? And who makes good AR magazines, at a reasonable price. Thanks Fellas, I'm rather clue-less when it comes to ARs.

I have built a couple ARs using their kits a long with their lowers and
thought they were very well made and the parts fit together much better
than others I have done. I have built AR's using DPMS, Bushmaster,
Delton, Stag, Sundevil, and thought they compaired very well to the
other brands, slightly tighter than most..
Mags C products, Magpul PMAGS, D&H industries are all good. |

I concur. Good AR's with a really nice factory 2 stage trigger. I just don't care for the Tactical carry handle deal though.
I like standard mags with a Magpul Anti Tilt follower installed, or D and H (Labelle) mags. |

SW,
I have had experience with both Bushmaster and Rock River Arms AR's. My department has had both. The Rock River Arms were purchased after having alot of problems with the Bushmaster carrier key staking. We were so impressed with the Rock River Arms rifles that we replaced almost all of our Bushmasters with them.
They are very accurate, the triggers are great, the upper receiver to lower reciever fit is very tight, and they are very reliable.
As for magazines, my first choice would be Brownell's brand with the chrome silicon springs (haven't checked lately but they were reasonably priced). 2nd choice would be any magazine stamped Colt or NHMTG (the company that makes Colt's magazines).

Rock River ARs are very highly thought of around here.
I have a flawless Bushmaster, myself.
(It didn't become flawless until after I replaced the somewhat rough factory trigger with a Jewell, though.)
I just bought a ton of the Brownell's 20-round magazines, (with the CS springs), and they seem excellent so far.

You can't go wrong with a Rock River. Good mags would be the Brownells, as well as, Magpul P-Mags.

The rock river guns are top quality and are getting harder to find.
