I think it was suspected that someone had voted multiple times for Sightron. Sightron had 10 times as many votes as many other brands and 3 times as many votes as the next highest.

I tossed one in for IOR, because mine is the best scope I own at the moment. The rest are Leupolds, one old Weaver and one Nikon Buckmaster. All good, but I think IOR is a few notches better.

I had to vote Leupy. I've had many and have yet to be disappointed. Though, the last three scopes I've bought have been Sightrons and my first Super Sniper should be here this month, I had to stick with my Ol' Faithful......and partly because I don't have the funds for the fancy-arse stuff...bummer!

I'm not a huge fan of opinion polls on any topic for the most part, but I'm finding this one very interesting. Considering how many Leupolds are out there compared to Zeiss, really speaks for how good Zeiss must be!

At one time not very long ago, I would have voted for Kahles as my favorite. Their scopes are still right up there with Zeiss for me, and I even like their 1" scopes better than Zeiss Conquest. The Kahles scopes I own are as good or better than anything I have, among my favorites in my collection. But, once they allowed their US customer service to take a nose dive, they dropped a notch or two on my list.
