Were the old Simmons Gold Medal rifle scopes any good? Does anyone here have one?

Thanks.

The Simmons Gold Medal (and Presidential) scopes were excellent. They tracked well and the optics were darn good. The 15X Silhouette scope, 6X24, 24X and 36X scopes all had a loyal following.

Simmons was making a good name for itself with these scopes....until they decided to become bottom dwellers in The Optic Sea.

Should add that I don't consider myself an  "expert" on these...just my experiences with them, is all. Smile

P.S. Is there an 'edit' feature? I would have editted my post than added another one....

There is an edit feature when your post count gets higher.  Glad to have your input.
