I just bought a CZ 527 in 17 Rem. to use on coyotes I have been using a 270 Weatherby Mag good pratice but sure make a mess of them. What would be a good scope for this rifle? I don't plan to shoot more than 250 to300 yards at the very most with it and most of the time it will be under 50 yards. I have a couple of varmit rigs with 6X24s on them but would be out of place, too big, and defeat the purpose of the smaller lighter rifle. It will be used both calling and just walking my fields look for ground hogs.

skate board tape-- one of the problems with the cz is the bolt handle rotates up to far a requires taller scope mounts than sometimes prefereable, you may want to have it trimmed down or thinned to clear the bolt.

I noticed how high the bolt handle comes up when you cycle the action . I also thought rings came with a CZ .
