I thought that was right on. He didn't exactly ask what caliber, only that someone name it.

Now I'm curious....... What is the name of the other one?

Edited for spelling......... Wouldn't want Ed to whip out that emoticon again on my account.

Helo's on the right track with the 43 Dutch Beaumont. The neck looks a bit short, though.

Is it a rim fire?
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I't is indeed a 41-swiss good going Ronk. I new someone would get it. I know you did not do a search for it now did you? ....just thought I would share it is the most unusual cartridge I have come across in a long while ...an old friend I had ,well his father took the gun on his first elk hunt in Rifle Colorado back in the 60's and shot a 400 class elk with it took 5 shot's to put it down but what an elk I have seen the rack it is HUGE.  thanks for playing.
