i have narrowed it to these 3 brandsI trust them all mechanically my question is which is the best optically .I do love the Zeiss rapidZ600 reticle,Also Sightrons HHR But is thier price worth more than the 4200? Also optically is the 6500 any better than the 4200

To my eyes, which are a little different to begin with I give the nod to the Zeiss. Nothing wrong with the other two, and they are very close behind it, but in the end I find the Conquest to be a tick better. I want a Sightron just to play with the HHR reticle though.

I honestly feel the Sightron S2 Big Sky is slightly better than the 4200 and a tie opticly with the Zeiss Conquest.

Would I lose anything to the Conquest if I got the Sightron 4.5x14x42 with HHR reticle?
Plus I can get 50.00 back on the Sightron

I think you are giving up in the reticle dept. but optically you won't miss a shot because you got the sightron instead of a Conquest.

The HHR from Sightron is similar to the LR reticle from Leupold in which I really like both.
I have a VXII 2-7X32 with LR Dots I also have a 3-9X42 Big Sky with the HHR reticle and both very nice. Rob |
