Couldn't pass up the price tag and She matches  my 22LR BAR takedown nicely.  I am tickled pink with with wood graine and quality of finish as well as checkering.  Engraving is deep and sharp too and I have always loved a deep blueing in hi gloss.  Only probably is keeping the smudges off everything!

Kind of like the $40k motorcylces that sit in the driveway get washed 2x a week and maybe 1k miles a year.  AKA butt jewlery.

Sweet looking rifle bud.  Them medallions are nice.  Beautiful wood.  Don't worry, have a Browning gold shotgun.  Don't take it duck hunting, just the easy life of shooting clays and pheasants were I can "protect" her.

uummmmm 2nd mortgage???

If money didn/t matter aprobably a Kahles.  Being poor I'll start off with a very generously donated BSA 4-16X40 Mil-DotIR.  I had originally planned on starting with a Team Primos before the donation arrrived.  I have a Bushnell 4200 2.5-10X40 plex on my Sav 110fp 270 that I really like.   I am new to scopes so this mildot is a great chance to learn mil-dots after that maybe a BDC.  She will eventually wear something befitting her good looks.

Somewhere in the middle of all that learning will be a VArmint in 223 with maybe a NF riding on top?

She wouldn't be a safe queen for sure.   I just won't be dragging her thru the brush.  My sav110fp with synthetic stock is the bushbeater!

I would check that Reed's ad Pyro posted sale might still be on.  $599 For Medallions in all calibers including mags.  THAT price just doesn't come along anymore.

Long arms are no problem but must have a PAL (possession and acquisition licence - and no, the gang bangers don't generally use them!)

Import is strictly through dealers.

if i had the money i would be tempted to purchase one for myself. but i think im taking a rifle hiatus for a few years. i think i will focus on scopes for a  few years. then when the boys are about 8-10yrs old i will start to look for their first hunting rifles.
