I find that some bullets in some calibers load really well and a few like 69 gr SMK in .223 I seem to get a ring aroung the bullet from the pressure seating the bullet. Obviously the fault of the style of seating dye but what is the fix I've tried RCBS and Redding and both have done it.

Send RCBS the bullet and they will make you a seater just for that bullet. I think it is under$20 to have them do it.

if use a Redding die switch to #23 which is made for this problem if using RCBS using a Dremel and a oval stone just larger than the mouth dia. gently take the edge off the RCBS so the edge catches the ojive further up in the seating die.

I did this for my Nosler but for the bergers it wouldn't work the ojive is to long and skinny and metal needed to be added in some place and taken away in others.
