Does anyone know if SWFA will match other online dealers such as those with an Ebay store front, as long as it's in stock and an exact match? Also is it a straight price match or 110 % that I thought I have seen someone speak of around here?, and what about shipping (as in if their competitors offer free shipping ....)

Exclusions: We don't price match products provided or sold at local or special events (e.g., gun shows, grand opening, anniversary, clearance or liquidation sales), items sold at wholesale/membership clubs (e.g., Sams, Costco), products sold on Internet auction sites (eBay, GunsAmerica, etc.) or products sold by distributors or wholesalers (e.g., RSR, Davidsons, companies that sell to dealers only). We also don't price match taxes, typographical errors or any item or price that includes a rebate.

My unbiased opinion: Buy from whoever offers the best total cost benefit. Factor into that price, customer service, return policy, other services, etc. I'll pay a little more for additional value, but not a lot more. I'll do business with whoever has the most consistent overall value. If scope "A" is ten bucks too high and scope "B" is low I'll buy both from the same dealer. If everything is high and I can get the same service elsewhere I'm not gonna' argue with them. I'll just move on. SWFA is a little high on their prices but have good customer service and sponsor/own this forum. They're also family owned. I figure that's worth paying a premium for, to a point. It's also awkward to get in here trying to solve a problem when you bought it somewhere else, but the forum members will help you. That alone can justify an additional expense. Peace of mind. F.W.I.W I bought my last two scopes here, and I play the internet like a Stradivarius

And will likely get banned a few more times too. If he truly has such disdain for us, WHY won't he stay away?

The internet has become very competative and found that they do indeed try to meet or beat the price. The internet offers better deals.I hate buying from large department stores that only push the item they get a nice sales commission on. |

I have one thing to add irregardless of who you buy from ask them if they have it in stock. What we are seeing at this point in gun and accessory sales is often times dealers do not have an item in stock and by the time they get it the price is higher than what you thought you bought it for. So be sure you are talking about somethin that the company actually has and actually can send you. The market is a little crazy right now and will probably get worse over the next several months.
I buy all my scopes at SWFA if I think the price is higher than the competition I ask about it and my experiences there have been very good.

For some reason I am reluctant to hold SWFA to their 110% price match. I respect the fact that they offer it but I also understand that just because a competitor is having a sell off of any certain discontinued style or make.......in my mind that shouldn't bind SWFA or any other retailer to match that price. Am I wrong in my thinking here?
