My wife bought me a pair of Brunton Eterna binoculars almost nine years ago and I have hunted with them hard sense then.  Near the end of 2008 the right prism fell and was rattling in the housing so I contacted Brunton and asked about repair.  They stated the Eterna has a life time warranty and to just send them in, I have heard that before.  Well I sent the busted glass off to Wyoming on 02-06-09 and I am very pleased to report I had a brand spanking new pair of Eternias on my door step today 02-20-09.  To my door in two weeks and they stood by their promises....I am very pleased.  Kudos to Brunton for standing behind their products and their fast customer service.

i think the boys in riverton (home of brunton) are trying really hard to establish themselves, they have the wind river mountains at there door step to really test stuff in the field under the most harsh conditions you could imagine, so its good to hear that they did you right.

I got one to top that....I called brunton to ask about their 8832 eterna because, after 4 years, I just never got use to my 10x32's (didn't gather enough light).  They told me same thing. lifetime warranty send in your 10x32 and we will send you a pair of 8x32s.  Now THAT is customer service!!!

Great stories guys, I haven't had a chance to view any of their optics, but I will definately keep this in mind.

I almost bought epoch compacts for turkey hunting.  Instead I got a pair of pentax 9x28dcf's and I cant stand them.  They where about 150$ less so I choked like a dummy.  Thats what happens with optics.  Anyway good cus serv is nice to hear, antmore its harder and harder to find.  I will probably trade up to the bruntons.
Thanks, Ben

If you want to go Brunton I would look at the Eterna line (middle of the road) before their Epochs.  While the Epochs are nice, they are not 4 times nicer then the Eternas.  There are alot better compacts out there in the Epochs price range.
