another vote for the Kahles CL. I have 2 and they are great! I don't have a Swaro AV Yet, but really want one. I have a Conquest too, and its a good scope. I doubt you'd be disappointed if you got it.

All the scopes you have listed above would make great hunting scopes, just depends on how much you want to spend. I still believe the soundest deals are in the $400-$500, sure the Swaro and Kahles are better scopes optically, but under normal hunting conditions if you can't get it done with a VX-3 or Conquest, your unlikely to get it done with the Swaro.

I got to agree with the last post ! I have a Swaro. PV 3-12X50, Kahles Helia C 3-12X56, and a Conquest 4.5-14x44 ! The Kahles is the best in low light but I would be hard pressed to say it is "way" better !
As a matter of fact I am seriously considering selling my Swaro and Kahles and buying 2 more Conquest 4.5-14x44 . I like the lower mounting of the 44mm , I like the power range, I like the adjustable objective, and I like the target turrets . I would only be giving up a little IMO for gaining some of those positives ! I think.....from what I have owned (and I also had a Zeiss Diavari 3-9x42 )that the Conquest is the best scope for the money I have seen. I would probably go for the best deal of those you listed. Chris has a Conquest 3-9x40 with the RZ 600 reticule for $459 on the samplelist ........might want to check that one out !!
