Just received the 09 ruger catalog.  While I am not a huge ruger fan, I'll be the first to say that they've really stepped it up a notch in the last few years.

Oh Yeah!!!!..........Ruger has done more in the last 2 years with new products than anyone else; new cartridges and rifles plus more selection. 375 and 416 Rugers, the RCM`s and the new rifles chambered for them too. Of course Hornady, deserves alot of that credit too.

The Ruger and Hornady collaboration is definitely a good thing for us hunters. Hornady has also done some good things with Marlin for the lever gun enthusiasts.

I wonder how many other gun makers will approach Hornady to have them cook up something. Just Ruger and Marlin so far that I know of.

Haven`t seen anything substantial from Remington that would come close to trumping Ruger/Hornady.

More of the new Rugers look to be slanted for the african market.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

.......They may modify the 700 and call it a 777, but more than likely the chamberings will stay the same or maybe some new additional cartridge selections may be added.

Because of the WSMs and the emergence of the RCM`s, the RSAUM`s are at or near the bottom rung in the popularity dept.

The 300, 338, 375 RUM`s, the 7mm/08, 280 Rem, 260 Rem, 7mm Rem mag, 223 Rem are Remy`s bigger draws.

6.5 short mag would be neat, but isn't that what the 6.5 remy mag is ?
