Has the turret function (double clicks, "soggy" tactile feel, the too heavy grease issue) been resolved on the current crop of SS scopes?

If not, are there easy fixes to correct these issues?

Is there a thread available that describes how to correct these issues?

I'm ready to purchase optics, the SS is in the running but these issues will matter. I really would rather not have to return a scope if its not necessary.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say so, I've been shooting with mine for 3 years now trouble free.

The cure back in the day (when this was an issue - I haven't seen complaints of this for awhile now) was to run the turrets to the ends of the adjustment range a few times, and that spread the grease and made the clicks more definitive.

I would say, "Buy with confidence!"  If there is a problem, SWFA stands behind their product and if, by some chance, it isn't right, SWFA will make it right.

I just got an SS and the clicks are very positive, no soggy feel and don't feel to heavy.  I thought they were actually very good.
