its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission. course my wife is a finlander, and you can tell a finlander, you just cant tell them much. koshkins wife i imagine isnt so easy to persuade that way, hence his claim of must sell to buy more came out.

Trijicon's new Accupoint 5-20x50 scope with mil-dot reticle and side focus.

http://gunblast.com/SHOT_2009_3.htm  Looks like someone took their camera.  I spotted this scope right off it looks like a dream come true. I wonder if they will buy a clue and put tactical knobs on the 2.5-10x56 now.

That is the only thing that has kept me from buying an Accupoint.  I am to spoiled now to not have knobs!  I hope they do put them on the 2.5-10!  Maybe they will offer it as an upgrade option.  Hmmmmm, have to give them a call.

It is a nice scope, Wes.  Next year, I need to see what it takes to get "press"credentials, so that I can take pictures.

Wes, I would opine that this second you do not need one, but once a couple of them make it out into the field and spend a few months there with feedback going back to Trijicon, THEN you need one.

The show sample I saw was very good, but the knobs were, likely, not up to your standard.  Now that was a very abused scope and probably pre-production, but I would wait for a few of these to make into people's hands.

As a side note, apparently finding a Remington 700P MLR is not trivial.  A local gun store has had one on order for close to year.  Anyone know a dealer who has one?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Consider yourself "reminded" then (and prepare to be bugged about this every two weeks or so until the next SHOT ShowBig Grin).
