is a Nikko-Stirling Nighteater 4-16x44 scope a good scope for shooting at 100-300 yards i'm getten  a Howa/Knoxx Axiom Rifles 308 i can get it with that scope or with out

I have the Howa M-1500 package that came with the nikko sterling nighteater. I made a post about what the guys thought about the package and they said to hold off on the nikko scope. They said just buy the gun and upgrade on the optics. A lot of people are recommending the Nikon Team Primos

The Howa 1500 is an excellent firearm. The Nikko Sterling Nightcrapper is a not so polished you-know-what.  Great gun but dump the nightcrapper
