The temp here is around 0.  So nearly every school in my area is closed...or at least 2 hours late.   Thought ya'll who live where it is cold would find that funny.

Yes, our schools were closed yesterday as well as today due to the -12 deg temps (-35 wind chill).  We are expecting a massive heat wave for Saturnday, should be 25 deg by noon.

We were about -35 yesterday too, and had school closings in the area, but not here. Our school superintendent, Eskimo Joe would never allow school to be closed. The kids hate it, but it keeps them from going all summer long.

You are correct, sir.   I like it here, in the west end of the state.  How was Richmond???

It was my first time in Richmond. Nice town and I enjoyed my stay.
I'll be back there next week.

I found an excellent Mom and Pop style cigar store near my job site that lets you smoke inside, watch TV in a big ass leather chair and BS with other smokers, so yeah, I'm liking it so far....Yep, Thought So

I know right much about the town...if you are in need of some ideas on where to kill some time send me a pm.   If you got time go up to Green Top Sporting Goods, they have right many guns, both new and used.

I can only remember once having school canceled, and it wasn't because of the cold ( we went a -30).  There was so much snow overnight even the plows couldn't run.  Had to get the graters and rotory blowers out.  That was the only day I can remember not going to school.
