Picked up a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x50 for an even $400 NIB
 
I know there is not a leupy fans on here, but with this being a discontinued model, was this a good deal??  Kinda late now, I was just wondering

I don't have a problem with leupold especially at these discounted prices, they are a pretty good deal.

We aren't Leupold haters. Many of us do have them. I like them, I like them alot more when I can get them at prices that are more in line with what I am getting in return for the duckage that I spend.

I think its a good buy. Last week I purchased a new VX-III 3.5-10x40 with the B&C recticle for $450

I wonder if the vxiii's will drop a bit more in price when the new vx3's are released, if they do, I'm buying one for a back up scope.
