How much better is the 6500 over the 4200? I've heard back n forth about the glass but i'd like more opinions. I'm particularly interested in the 30mm mildot models. thanks

It would seem that the bigest advantage is the increased range of powers but the glass is reported to be better however the 4200 glass is pretty good.

Image quality is comparable between 4200 and 6500. There are, however, other significant differences aside from the magnification range:
- Eye relief on the 6500 is longer and more forgiving - Knobs are finger resettable - Shorter and lighter for the same top-end magnification - Larger W/E adjustment range, for the same top-end magnification. ILya |
