Im looking for a new scope for my 300 WSM, i want one that i can put target knobs on it so i was looking into the Sightron s2 4-16x42mm with the plex recticle, and also the Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40mm
Another thing i was wondering was about bushnells customer service, Are they any good?

I don't have any experience with Sightron scopes but I own three 4200s and find them to be outstanding! Great clarity and contrast and the scopes maintain a consistent point of impact at different focal lengths. IMO the optics are as good as Leopold and Nikon and the scopes are great in low light situations. I have a 3X9X40 mm on a Tikka 300 WSM and it seems to maintain its zero after 100-200 rds. The Rainguard coating is also a plus.

I have both scopes and the Sightron SII wins.Better eye relief and better when its getting dark.I have to mount my 4200 on a light recoiling gun due to the short eye relief.Bought the Sightron SII Big Sky which is even better much brighter and clearer if you want an even better scope.
