I already have mine on order - hope everyone else who wants some places their order in time.  Forget adding primers, they don't have much to choose from at this time and the distributors are starting to run low and are beginning to allocate.

If you buy 32 lbs they pay the hazmat fee and shipping I believe.  That is what I usually do.

i have no use for 32lbs of powder, you gotta have a fire proof cabinet and a permit to keep that much in a building dont you? anything over 5lbs?

That is why you get together with friends and all buy a jug or two.  Saves a ton of money in the end.

I hope it's not over 5 lbs. I keep 10 lbs in my bedroom "just in case." And I don't even have a press!

its up to each state, most city's say 5-10lbs in a building and anything after that you need a flame proof cabinet. if you live in the country its up to the states to decide. some state have 50-100lbs some have 20-50lbs.

This is what I have always gone by - I believe it is from the NFPA

Smokeless propellants intended for personal use in quantities not exceeding 20 lbs shall be permitted to be stored in original containers in residences.

Quantities exceeding 20 lbs, but not exceeding 50 lbs, shall be permitted to be stored in residences where kept in a wooden box or cabinet having walls of at least 1 inch nominal thickness.

I guess I should check on state/local regulations.

That is what I have read as well.  I guess one could just bury it in the back yard and be good. ;)

it is so much more gratifying when you take an animal or even shoot a target knowing that you put that ammo together your self.

no doubt!! the only thing that sucks about that for me is the anticipation of that animal showing up for me to take that shot, and when i dont see anything the whole season its a huge let down!

you put in hours upon hours reloading and shooting to perfect that load and then nothing comes out you feel screwed, like if you would have went and bought a box of factory ammo you would have seen all kinds of game!
