I was thinking about getting some decent bino's and was trying to stay around $300.  I am looking at the Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42's right now.  Anything better for the money?  I realize these aren't top quality, but new with a new baby that is the most I would like to spend.  I could be swayed $100 or so if it would make a stellar difference.

So for $300, which bino's would you get?

Bushnell Infinity. $400 with a $100 rebate = $300, I love mine.

Buy a good Porro prism binocular.  You'll get much more for your $300 than you possibly could with any comparably priced (or even much more expensive) roof prism.
What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
