I recently purchased a Charles Daly 12 gauge VR-MC semiauto and am looking to mount a scope for deer hunting. I am looking at firing no more than 100 yards and will be using a smooth barrel with a rifled choke. I have hunted plenty of duck and quail but this will be the first season I hunt for deer with a shotgun. I have a great range nearby where I can sight in and get used to the guns action. What type/brand slugs and scope would you guys recommend for my first season?

Winchester silvertip 400 gr sabbots.
I prefer a red dot scope for a slug gun but here are some options.
