I think it would be cool to collect trains but the wife told me a few minutes ago "I dont see why anybody needs more than one gun."  That was after telling me about the visa bill and her not remembering anything about me buying that Trijicon scope to which I announce that I was actually ready to start looking for another scope and was really lamenting not having more money to aquire some kind of optic. Chair Hit I dont think that's what she wanted to hear. Whistling  Yep - I should take up collecting trains since professional photograpy equipment and rifle scopes make them look very reasonably priced.

I always thought trains and modeling looked like fun.  I guess I just like little miniature stuff---especially stuff that moves and smokes, etc...

Many years ago I had one of those Model Railroad catalogs ( kind of like the Shooter's Bible of little trains....)  That was a blast to look at!

Then I went to work for Southern Pacific RR ( which soon became Union Pacific ) and my opinion of Railroads was forever altered.   However, now that that is all over, and in the past,  little HO trains look like fun again....Big Grin

Ok. I'm a closet train collector. I have been colecting HO trains since I was in high school. Problem is I have never had the room to set up a layout. I have a friend that has an American Flyer S guage collection that is as complete as any I have ever seen.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Not me but I have a friend who has been into trains and train gardens for years. In fact, he designed and built the entire train garden at the German Pavilion at EPCOT (Dismal World).

Why would he ban all of his voters?
