Hello, I purchased my second Kahles scope a year ago . It is a 3-9x42 KX that has given great service so far. There are so many rumors flying around about their future that I thought I would ask the question here since so many Kahles Owners reside here. If I were to somehow damage this scope or it needed adjustment can it still be done and if so where would it be sent ? That is my only concern for the moment .

Well that would be ok ..a few weeks won't hurt a thing. I was wondering also about the long term survivability of Kahles. I like their Products

So I sent an email to the address listed in the above email but no reply yet.

I spoke to a Customer Service rep at Swarovski who told me try the above actions
she was very helpful. Swarovski and Kahles are owned by different members of the same family.

I'd buy another Kahles tommorrow

But I will never buy a product distributed or serviced by Legacy Sports International,  They apparently can't foward the regristation for to a company the had a relationship with

a lot will depend on the economy of this country, if people buy scopes like kahles makes then i would see no reason why there would be any short fall of them in the usa, they didnt change anything about there production or anything, they just split away from swaro, and legacy picked up the importing duty.

Thanks for posting that ST. When I read it the other day it didn't quite sound right so I called SONA and was told:

Beginning 1/1/08, SONA really has nothing to do with Kahles other than, from past dealings with Kahles and Legacy Sports, their recently trying to assist people in contacting Kahles.

The 866-606-8779 number is to Kahles in Vienna.

Per SONA, it's suggested that if you email Kahles to give some time for a reply back.
