Hey guys, thanks up front for your help. I'm looking to scope a couple of my rifles and would like some input on the ones I have narrowed it down to. Would like the Good, bad, and ugly on them.

1. 243 Win Nikon 3-12x 42 monarch or Sightron 3.5-10x42 Big Sky or 3-12x42HHR Big sky will use mostly on varmits. 200 - 350 yards

2. 270 Win Nikion 4-16x42 Monarch or Sightron 4.5-14x42 Big Sky or 4.5-14x42HHR Big Sky will use on deer and what ever. 100 - 400 yards

3. 308 Rem Sightron 24x44 Big sky or 6-24x42 Big Sky. Will be used on long rang targets and what ever gets in my way. 200 - 500 plus yards

Any and all hep will be greatful

I agree! +1Thunbs Up
for varmints the fine cross hair of the plex is a must.
The range of mag. for the .270
The SS for the .308 is a great match.

I'm thinking for the varmits with the .243 I would want more power either a 4-16 or higher Bushnell 4200 or Nikon Monarch.  Possibly the 4-14x40 Mark 4 Leupold with its 1/4 moa target knobs.
LEU56130 Leupold 4.5-14x40 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm Riflescope Leupold 4.5-14x40 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm Riflescope
  • Matte
  • Mil-Dot
  • 30mm
  • Long Range
  • Side Focus
  • Target Knobs
SWFA: $799.95
More Info...
Eaven a 6.5-20 x50 might be a lot of fun for a varmit rig.   I like the other suggestions but having at least one high power variable or high power fixed can be a lot of fun and nice to have at the range to use as a spotting scope.

Another scope I really have wanted to buy :
TR22 Trijicon 2.5-10x56 Accu-Point 30mm Rifle Scope Trijicon 2.5-10x56 Accu-Point 30mm Rifle Scope
  • Matte
  • Amber Triangle
  • 30mm
SWFA: $806.95
