Hi, new here. I was wondering if anyone recognized the logo on this 3-9x39 scope. I can't make it out. It has a T-Reticle. Russian or German made perhaps? Thanks for any help.

Haven't a clue. I say put it on a 22 and use it and dont worry about it.

The scope's usefulness is not in question but the brand is.

It has to be a European scope as the ctn probably stands for centimeters.  And how the erector assembly is larger than the tube makes me think that as well.

Yes, it looks just like the Kronos only it does not say Kronos. But now I see that ZOMZ makes scopes for Kronos. Perhaps it is a scope by ZOMZ. Thank you.

So how is the scope?  How is the quality of the glass?

Awesome. Mystery solved. It's a very nice scope. The glass is high quality. Sharp and clear with a very slight yellow tint. Thanks again.

No, those are cyrillic letters.  I don't know what the abbreviation СТП means, sorry.  Perhaps koshkin could help.

It's been awhile since I studied any Russian but, if I remember correctly,  on the top dial the "П" makes a "P" sound and stands for "pravy" (ПРАВЫЙ), or right.  The Л makes an "L" sound and stands for "Levy" (ЛΕBЫЙ), or Left.

On the side dial the "H" makes an "N" sound and (I believe) stands for "Neezshee" (НИЗШИЙ) and means "lower." The B makes the "V" sound and stands for "Vis-shee" (ВЫСШИЙ) and means "higher"

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

IOR another European company made some scopes will yellow glass and said this about them.

Quote As far as some scopes being tinted yellow; THAT IS NOT A TINT. The glass was a very special limited edition made by SCHOTT GLASSWERK and it is actually the color of the glass, not a coating.  These scopes are collectors items.

If I'm reading this right the US price for this scope is $125.00 or at least was priced that as the list is dated 2004.

So how did you become the owner of it?

I work for a chain of pawn shops. We get many unusual items, this being one of them.
