Hi all, buddy of mine bought a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Mag this summer with the 9" barrel, gun came with a stainless Nikon scope 1.5-4.5 x ????, not sure on objective size but it is bigger then the the tube, 28mm I'm guessing. Anyway, he says the gun is too heavy for him with the scope on it and took it off , he wants to sell it. I need an idea what it's worth  but can't find one like it listed. It doesn't say anything but Nikon on it so I'm guessing it is an older one since now the Monarch,Buckmaster and Prostaff names are used in their lines. Any ideas appreciated, looks nice on my 7.5" SRH, need to know what to offer him. Thanks in advance

I'd offer $75.  Newer ones are much more expensive, but, you don't know if it has had a hard life.

I'd go with Derek on this one, that 44 is a hard kicker on a scope.  Don't spend a bunch for it.

Is this the scope? If it is, a guy on ebay wants $175 for it. Here is the page if you want to look at it. Nikon EER 1.5-4.5X24 handgun scope
