Im not sure if this is the right  place to ask this question or not but here goes.  I have savage 110 30-06 with a Bushnell 4200 mounted on it with med burris sig rings.  When I mount the gun and try to get a good cheek weld I cant see through the scope very well.  If I dont have a good cheek weld the gun jumps alot and the scope tries to smack me. Is this a problem with me or an equipment issue?  My first thought was to try and raise the comb.
Thanks for the help.

What 4200 Elite are you using? 50mm objective or smaller?

I have a Savage model 11's (not sure how similar to the 110) with that exact same scope mounted in Weaver bases with Low Warne rings and I get a really good cheek weld.  Almost as good as the iron sights!
take em!

with the low rings do you see the end of the barrel in your scope view?

Shocked
That might be an issue. Can't say I've ever seen a thing.

You won't see you barrel with a scope 3x or more.  Even if you have a sight sticking up like on an AR it focus's past the sight.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

actually you maybe could if you had two different heights, shorter one of the two towards the muzzle and the taller one closest to you, but thats highly unlikely.

I agree trying the low set of rings would be nice but I had a hell of a time getting these.  Everyone was out of stock.  I bought these used. I guess I will have to start looking for another set.
