Does the Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 have marked target turrets like the Barska Swat series?
I'm not too good a counting clicks and a visually marked turret would work better for me. Would that be a good scope for target shooting with my Ruger 10/22? |

Don't know if it's like the Barska, but the Buckmaster turrets are marked in 1/8 MOA clicks.
Did that help you?

They are marked for target use. Cheaptrick states as 1/8 moa (inch) per click at 100 yards. Like the Barska? No they aren't like the Barska, the knobs are different. Barska is open knobs and the Buckmaster is covered. (covers are removed for adjustment)

Doesn't the 6X18 Buckmaster come with TWO sets of turrets? I thought I read that somewhere.....that they have a set of target turrets in the box....

Certain old high powered Monarchs came from the factory with low profile turrets and the taller target turrets were included in a bag with the scope. They switch out very easily by turning a allen head screw that runs through the top of the turret.
I'm not sure about the 6-18x Buckmaster, but I "think" they come from the factory with only the target turrets. No low profile turrets are included, but I may be wrong.

I have 1 of those 6-18x BM with mil-dot reticles that have been on-sale at competitor for awhile now. It comes with a sunshade, 2 sets of turrets (1 set straight and 1 set of tapered that the cap won't fit over).

I had one of the 6-18 Buckmasters with the FCH-dot reticle. They are GREAT scopes. I only sold it to get a Weaver T-36 for score shooting.
I have a 3-9X40 Buckmaster on my 7 MM WSM and I'm very happy with it.
