I just bought a remington 700 vsf in 22-250 and I need a scope! Mosty going to be after coyotes, but I'll probaby go after prairie dogs from time to time. Been leaning towards leupold or zeiss, and Id like to keep it around 800 bucks at most. Any advice?

Welcome Trapper.
This would be a good scope for doing that. Not every one likes the BDC, but I do like it, I like ALOT.
Naturally the Conquest is probably the hardest to beat in the price range.

I want that Zeiss. You should send me one Bill! Good advise, I like my Monarch, and love my Zeiss.

keep it under 4.5x on the low end is my only advice here, $800 gives you a lot of very good options, kahles meopta zeiss lots of good names in that price range

Yes as nice as the BDC reticle is that Z reticle is superb.
