I know its probably too late for suggestions, hopefully I purchased a good quality spotting scope. The price seemed right though its the military version of the bushnell Elite 15-45 60mm scope for only 279.99.(shipping included)Any one have a comments on this lower end of the Elite scopes? Thanks for any historical help.

Build quality is good
Image quality is decent, though not spectacular. Eye relief is extremely short - especially for eyeglass wearers. |

I purchased the new 6500 elite about 2 weeks ago! This is a question for anyone knowledgable on Elite 6500 spotting scope-I wear glasses & I really need a little more eye releif.I spoke to Bushnell & they couldn,t help.Does anyone know who might make a 25x long eye releif....Thanks

If you need more eye relief, try looking thru the Bushnell excursion. I wear glasses and eye relief was a priority to me as was wide field of view and the excursion has both. Currently, for the price of the Excursion, nothing comes close. I may sound like I have stock in Bushnell, but I don't, I just a very satisfied customer. I'm actually more than satisfied, I'm thrilled with what I got for the low price.

Thanks lucznik ,you are correct I just perchased both at the same time in the last 3 weeks.I was reffering to my Bushnell elite 80mm 45 deg w/20-60 not my elite 6500 riffle scope.Sorry for any misunderstanding.

No worries. It might take you a little searching to find them but Bushnell did offer 22x and 30x eyepieces for the 80mm Elite. Either one would offer both longer eye relief and a wider FoV.
