Would like to say hello to every one and say what a great site you have. I have a new remington model seven on the way. With a new elite 4200 in the safe waiting its arrival. I want to put a good set of rings and bases on it something that hopefully will never cause a problem. What would the experts use. I'm would like to stay under 150. New gun new scope I just dont want to end up with junk for rings. By the way the scope did come from swfa.

Welcome to Optics Talk.
Talley rings and bases are always a good option, along with Warnes gear. I've had very good luck with Leupold rings as well.

Here are some Talley's on my Model 7. They are my favorite hunting mount system. The quality of the machining is excellent as are the materials.
Welcome to O.T.
