Hey guys, love the sight and forums.

I just purchased a DPMS sweet 16 and I need to find a GREAT scope for blasting varmints.

The ranges: ~50-400? and beyond?     -- Hey i live in ND, ranges are crazy and I will always take a crack at a coyote if hes standing still. And long distance prairie doggin is also an option so better glass the more fun. RIGHT?!?

Power:  3x-9x seems to little for the wide open spaces of ND so the higher the better while still maintaining bright, clear picture would be best.

Prices: Anything below $300 dealer cost would be ideal. My friend has a FFL so my prices will be less than the sight.

Thanks for the help in advance.

In that case you better buy a Nightforce 5.5-22-56

thats a great choice too, i have 2 monarchs and have had three buckmasters there isnt anything wrong with nikon, other than there cs. dept, but lately i have been hearing more and more good results from people who  have dealt with there cs dept lately so maybe things have gotten better in that aspect.

IMO the Mueller Eradicator is a nice scope.
I have one on my 22-250 w/ bull barrel and LOVE IT! Big%20Grin
I think it is super clear and decent fov.  I haven't looked through the other 2 scopes that were mentioned but I feel this one is one of the best deals for the $$ IMHO.

You can get it here for under $300 and SWFA backs your purchase.
The 3200 is a pretty good scope for the money and I sure wouldn't go any higher in magnification for varmints out to 500 yards.
