I am thinking of purchasing a riflescope and was wondering which would be best?

Either of the Metopia Artemis 2000 with one of the #4 reticles.  Or the Nova Swarovski on the sample list.  Also there is the Mueller 3-9X40 with their Illuminated #4 reticle.  Which would be the best choice?  Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have an Artemus 3000 and I like it.  Optics are very good, and Meopta customer service is good as well.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Hey I just purchased a 44mag lever action, I was wondering what would be a decent scope and what power i should use? I take it the 44mag is not that effective after 50 yards. Thanks for your help

A 44 mag is good for well beyond 50 yds, three or four times that actually (depending upon the accuracy of your particular lever action), don't sell it short.

+1.  The .44Mag lever gun is generally considered pretty good out to about 150yd.  Anything further is really pressing the capabilities of the weapon to provide a clean kill.

I don't see  a need to scope a lever action rifle. I will say though that I know quite a few that do. I would look at something in the 1-4 range magnification wise, and certainly nothing higher than a 7 at the high end (Depending on Caliber). There are a number of good scopes that can be used.
