These rings seem to be out of stock everywhere I look and will be that way for at least a few weeks I'm told.
I need the low 1/4" version.
Please help.

Almost all "tactical" rings are out of stock every where including our competitors (which we do not advertise here FYI). Rule #3 The best I could tell you would be to place your order now and get on the back order list. We not only purchase direct from Burris we have orders with multiple other distributors so that we get their allocations too. If you are able to locate some then contact us to cancel your back order.

This isn't looking good. My e-mail from Burris is estimating September and at the end he said, "I hope".
Deer season is just around the corner and I need to practice. <O><O>

Why do you have to have the Burris Extreme Tactical rings? What rifle, what caliber and what scope do you have? I can come up with some alternatives if you like.

300WM. McMillan stock. Zeiss VM/V 2.5-10X50
Time for a change. I like the combination of aesthetics and function.
I have a pair of Xtreme's on my AR/6.8mm.
Good performance for the $$
I'm already considering the Badger rings, but they are picatinny and my Farrell base is weaver.

What about Farrell rings? He makes them to go with his bases.
Leupolds will also fit weaver bases. http://www.swfa.com/c-422-leupold-mark-4-1-rings.aspx Edited by supertool73 - August/22/2008 at 17:43 |

I've considered the Warner's and the MK4's (30mm), but they don't do anything for me.
The Farrell rings I'm still thinking about. I still need to get the height specs for them. 1/4"-ish low is what I want.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Got a reply from Ken Farrell and he said, "Our bases are picantinny also and you should have no problem using Badger's rings"
