After many years of wear, tear and discolorations on my old el-cheapie soft rifle cases, I finally broke down the other day and bought me a black 53" Pelican double scoped rifle hard case w/ some wheels on it!

Unless you shoot at it, this thing appears and feels as though it`s indestructable!!

Anyone else have a Pelican hard case??

I even jumped up and came down very hard on it!Yippee............No affect!

I have one, an old travel vault that's 15+ years old. Back then they didn't come with the wheels and fold down handles the current ones have but it definitely does the job. Your right, it's pretty tough!! Thunbs%20Up

That's gonna be my next case.  I made the mistake of purchasing a 100 dollar double rifle case and now it needs to be replaced cause it broke.  Should of spent the money the first time.

I don't have a Pelican rifle case, but I have a couple of smaller Pelican cases for my optics.  They are indeed extremely tough, and they protect the contents very well!

I called Pelican today and apparently these cases have the strength to withstand a Hummer running over them!!Shocked......And I thought that I @ 240lbs., could give it a REAL good test by jumping up and down on it??..Laugh

We use them to ship almost all of our test equipment around.  Have never had a piece of equipment shipped in a Pelican damaged.  They are well worth the money.
