It's a nice day and i finshed work early(on a sunday)

so head down to the range to test my new ruger mini 30 it shoots pretty now, fingers crossed.
I had a problem with the extractor not gripping the bullet case but a minnor adjustment and a good old lube it's starting to free up.

Target is at about 130 yards, temp was 90,no wind and ammo was cheap cheap wolf 762x39mm.122-Grain FMJ .
Btw loads of people told me not to use wolf in a ruger..........works ok for me.

Just iron sights.

Try Corbon 150"s ...I use them in my 7.62x39 AR15 , and they are super on deer out to 150 yd.s (2250 FPS with spitzer bullet --almost  matches 30/30 ) ..I have also had good luck with Fed'l 123 gr stuff . It actually grouped a bit tighter than the Corbon fodder in the AR, and back when I had the previous generation MINI-30,it was the only load that shot well enough to take hunting with.
