I sent a Burris FF 3 X 9 back to Burris due to impact shifting. They sent me a letter back stating my scope was over 10 years old, it is non-repairable (no explanation) and it was not covered by their warranty.

They were kind enough to offer me another scope at 60% off retail, which of course is higher than anywhere they are sold on the net. Anyone else had trouble with the Burris "Forever Warranty"?

i only have 1 burris scope, and havnt had to test out the warranty, but they do have the choice whether to replace, it, or somthing like that, their warranty is a little screwy, and it also takes you "forever" to get it fixed. i would try to fight it, adventually, they should do something, or try to get a scope for 60% of the price they are sold at on the net.

I would call them on this one for sure.  Ask to speak with someone higher up and get a clarification of why the lifetime warranty does not apply and post the answer here please.

Talked with Burris. They said the scope had been dropped, the eyepiece bent and it was unrepairable, I had to look pretty hard to see that the eyepiece bell was angled by a thread.
